Artist Research Nick Waplington

I have picked this picture because this picture reminds me of the work of Andrew Hunt who I have researched. This photographer is called Nick Waplington.

This is another of Andrew Hunt's work the reason why I have put another one of his work is because Nick Waplington has done a series of living room pictures. They both use a a lot of light in their work, for example they both have a lot of blues in the images. The blue is quite light it stands out compare to the rest of the image. They both use social documentary






This is a Nick Waplington Photograph I like the contrast of the old couple and the young family. You can see energy in the family photograph but you can't see the energy in the painting.

1 I like this image because of the object being on the wall and it looks like its on the floor.

2 I like this by the background is focused and the object is blurred.

3 I don't like this because the image is too blurred.

4 I would of liked this image if the reflection was of something what was interesting.

1 I like this because of the image being really sharp and forced but I also think it really smart because by the reflection.

2 I like this because of the image being focus except the end building.

3 I don't like because the image is too boring.

4 I kinda don't lie this because of it being to blurred but looking back on it now it looks really interesting.

I like this because of the bright colour. He uses a slow shutter speed to get the movement in the picture, and he has focused in with the teddy bear.

1 I like this because it got different shade of tone in the picture.

2 I like this by it too dark but you can still see the shape of the images.

3 I don't like this because of it being too dark.

1 I like this because of the sharped edges towards the camera I also like the fact where you can see different layers of the zoom lenses.

2 I like the shimmer of light on the edges of the key ring

3 I don't like this because of the fact of it is too dark.

4 This image would of looked better if it where brighter.

1 I like this because it shows the bike and the foreground and the bright white background.

2 I like this because it is quite dark but you can still see everything

3 I don't like this one because of it being too bright.(over exposed)

1 I like this because the all image is blurred except that arm.

2 I like this image but it would of been better if the person was focused in.

3 I don't like this because it is to boring.

4 Same this image is boring as well.


This is another of Darren Rowse photographs

I like his work.through use of shallow depth of field and a slowish shutter speed he has emphasised that  subject is moving quickly. if he had used a fast shutter speed it could look as though the dog is stopped.

Task 2

On this used the tried the aperture
and maybe the f-stop. This image wasn't my best most of the images aren't the best, I've got some awesome pictures though.









I like this picture because I changed the angle of the camera. I like the picture because it makes it look freaky, I should of done more of these angled pictures.

 I should of tried to make the reflection a stronger one so you can see the hand rail more.

I made the ISO a higher number so it is still visible but its a funky picture. I like this picture because you have the dark railings with the bright background.

I have used the same ISO number as the previous one but this one looks better by the type its gone the the colour pink.

This one is better because its got a smaller ISO number and you can see more detail in the telephone box.

 I like this because I did a focused picture. what makes this picture better is the fact of the girl looking into the camera. ( but she doesn't look pleased )

 I like this picture because of the composition of it where is not just the manhole what you see, you also see a got part of the floor as well. The ripples of the sewer water where you can see the light and dark bits.

This one has a high ISO but I don't like this because it's not a special picture.

 I like this because some of the people are focused in but there's one what I think is blurred with the background.

I altered the shutter speed to make it slower so it became really blurry I think this image would of look better if it was a tiny bit more focused in the picture.

I think that this shutter speed picture is better than the last one because of it is focused into that persons arm but it also looks like its the blonde girls arm going the other way.

This ISO is like on 1200 where you can only see a tiny bit of the motorcycle.

This one looks better because you can see more detail. The ISO is the next one up so it will be 400.










This ISO is like on either 600 or 800  but this one looks really interesting.










This ISO is at 100 but I like this because you see the bike with all the different shades of red and that glimmer of light on the gas tank.









Here is another blurry picture I think that this picture would of been better if the eyes where open and focused so all you see are the eyes and the rest is blurred, that would of made the image a lot better.

On this I made the shutter speed really slow so I could make a blurry picture but I also moved the camera round so it looked like the people are moving faster than necessary.

I like this because of the reflection it mainly shows you the buildings what are being reflected.












I like this because of the reflection on the  Pokeball, I like the colour contrast because of the grass and then the bright red.

I like this because it feels like I have changed the angle of the camera.

I like this by the camera angle and the sharp reflection with the building and the tree.

 These are my angle pictures I like them by the the people walking on 

These are smart reflections where you see double.

Here is my Micro pictures I like this because of the reflection of the light on the lens.

I like this because of the engrave of the key ring  type of the call of duty. I also like the fact of the 2 is blurred out of the image but the rest is focused.

I like the the shimmer of light on the edge of the key ring.

I like how the background is blurred and the key ring is focused =.
